Enhancing Cross-Divisional Collaboration with Innovative Technologies
As a Design Leader and Sr. UI/UX Designer & Developer at AT&T, I led the front-end design for cross-divisional collaboration platforming designed improvements to a construction and planning portal for AT&T products. My leadership contributions included guiding the team in adhering to division-wide technology standards, implementing cutting-edge technologies and creating a more efficient and accurate data querying system through the creation of a new API. By collaborating with the team to overcome the challenge of unifying data from different technical divisions, I facilitated cross-divisional collaboration and enhanced the construction and planning process for AT&T products.

I led the front-end development of the CSI-App, a cross-divisional collaboration platform designed to improve construction and planning for AT&T products U-Verse and LightSpeed.
Challenges: During the development lifecycle, we faced several challenges, the most prominent of which was the collection and unification of data from different technical divisions. With millions of records stored in different data architectures, it was a daunting task to bind key data such as addresses, phone numbers, and customer accounts. We overcame this obstacle by quickly identifying data sanitization issues and planning resolutions throughout different phases of the development lifecycle.
My Impact: As part of the project team, I implemented cutting-edge technologies, including Angular v-1.3.x and Bootstrap 3.1.x. I developed the first-ever Angular application in the division, transitioning from a server-side technology like JSP to modern browser-side MVC apps. By doing so, we created a Bootstrap Angular application using NPM, Bower, and Grunt, resulting in a more efficient and accurate data querying system through the creation of a new API.
Overall, my contributions and leadership during the project resulted in the successful creation of the CSI-App, improving cross-divisional collaboration and enhancing the construction and planning process for AT&T products.
My current portfolio exhibits some more current work and some meaningful projects that show great examples of my experience.
