Program Manager III

As a Program Manager III, I led a team of designers to create a unified brand and streamline multiple Delta Crew mobile applications for over 20,000 Delta flight attendants. I also designed a future state vision and brand identity for Delta mobile applications by applying best practices to improve the everyday working life of Delta Crew members.

In addition to leading the design team, I taught and trained a LEAN agile design methodology that was used cross-functionally to improve the design and product development process. I also managed day-to-day design operations for several highly adopted mobile apps.

My approach to design is based on four main pillars:

• Discovery: Identifying new product opportunities to make them more accessible, usable, and sustainable
• User Input: Creating new ways of engaging users seeking data on complex situations, scenarios, and requirements.
• Design: Developing a modern system adaptable to multiple design teams and platforms
• Testing: Establishing a testing process to collect quantitative and qualitative user data in a moderated or unmoderated environment

Over the course of almost two years, I transformed a team with no established process into an efficient and capable design team using a LEAN process. I led the development of a robust design system that reduced the use of multiple components and colors, resulting in a more streamlined and cohesive design. I also mentored and coached the team on collecting feedback and user input iteratively through testing.

In addition, I managed timelines and backlogs for multiple mobile application products with time-sensitive deadlines and built priority arrangements with business partners to create a more equitable environment. To support collaboration and knowledge-sharing, I created custom SharePoint sites sand cloud applications that centralized informational websites, documentation, user testing calendars, and design artifacts, all organized by teams and projects.

Overall, my leadership and design skills have helped create a more efficient and effective design process, resulting in better experiences for Delta Crew members and greater success for the company. I am eager to apply my skills and experience to lead design teams and drive impactful design solutions in my next role.
